Colourpop No Filter Foundation and Powders Review

ColourPop No Filter Makeup Review

ColourPop is a brand I adore, I love so many of their products and can't help but buy more. I did do a full ColourPop Collection Post including swatches. I do own more products so will definitely do an updated one. When I saw ColourPop announce on their Instagram they were releasing a foundation and powders I set an alarm in my phone for the release date. I have been wanting them to release base products for so long!

The No Filter Collection includes four products, a concealer, foundation, loose powder and pressed powder. Now I do have three of those, I used to have the no filter concealer but gave it to my cousin. I loved the coverage but the pale shades oxidise so much! When choosing a shade in the foundation ColourPop made it super easy! They put out on Instagram a guide for each shade. They put other foundation shades that are similar so you could work out your shade. It is perfect, I went off the guide and the foundation matches my skintone perfectly! I have put the guide at the end of the post for you so you can work out your shade.

The Foundation

ColourPop No Filter Foundation Fair 30 Review

ColourPop No Filter Foundation | $12.00 | Link

The bottle is adorable, it comes in a glass bottle with little stars all over and it comes with a lockable pump! You get 25ml of products, 5ml less than most foundations but I don't mind that as you are paying approximately £9.00 for the product. I have put below how it appears on the website, you pick your skin tone and then pick your undertone. It will then bring up the shades suited to you most. I picked fair and neutral and my shade is Fair 30. On the guide on their instagram they describe it to be similar to MAC NW10, Fenty 120, Maybelline 112 which is perfect as I do own the Maybelline one in 112.

Definitely check out the guides as they work. I am going to pick up a darker shade as Fair 30 matches my pale skin perfectly but I want another shade for when I tan.

ColourPop Say:

Buildable full coverage, natural matte foundation delivers flawless looking skin from day-to-night. The oil-free, lightweight formula blends smoothly and is easily customizable to create the coverage you want. Build it up or sheer it out, it was developed with innovative soft-blurring pigments to deliver true color while looking and feeling natural. The lockable pump is easy to use and keeps your routine mess-free! As always, 100% cruelty-free and vegan.

I completely agree. When I apply this foundation I get medium coverage but if I apply more product it does become full coverage. I am impressed with the finish of this foundation. My skin has texture and I do get breakouts but this still makes my skin look flawless! It lasts all day, it doesn't break up or look cakey. ColourPop you have done well!

The Powders

ColourPop No Filter Sheer Matte Pressed Powder Review

ColourPop No Filter Sheer Matte Pressed Powder | $9.00 | Link

Lately I am preferring a pressed powder under my eyes as it doesn't look as heavy. This powder comes in six shades for all skin tones. I picked fair, the lightest shade. It is extremely lightweight, it feels like you aren't wearing powder. I have been loving this under my eyes, it doesn't add any coverage as it is a sheer powder but it creates such a flawless natural look.

It blurs pores, doesn't crease under the eyes and looks natural. I do sometimes wear this alone just to even out my skintone when I want a minial makeup day.

ColourPop No Filter Loose Powder Review

ColourPop No Filter Loose Powder | $9.00 | Link

The loose powder comes in three shades from translucent, banana and deep translucent (for dark skin tones). I picked the translucent shade as I have pale skin and most banana powders show up far too yellow on my skin. The loose powder comes in a small pot. I prefer to use this powder as an all over setting powder rather than under my eyes. I tend to apply my powders with a flat top kabuki brush and press it in as this makes it look flawless and not powdery at all. Alot of loose powders can look heavy under my eyes because I have a crease under each eye which is always there even without powder. If you apply too much of this it can look powdery. I think if you don't suffer with creasing under the eyes this would work well otherwise like me you can use it as an all over setting powder.
