Touch In Sol No Pore Blem Primer Review

Touch In Sol No Pore Blem Primer Review

I am the biggest foundation junkie going so I always look for the perfect primer to make my makeup look flawless and last all day. Touch In Sol is a Korean Beauty brand that has taken the world by storm. It came of of nowhere and it is all people are talking about. Korean Beauty has always intrigued me and this brands most talked about product is the No Pore Blem Primer. I finally picked it up early in January and I have mixed thoughts on it.

What Touch In Sol Say:

"Enlarged, visible pores? No problem! Fresh from South Korea, this ‘primer-to-end-all-primers’ contains a unique powder that controls sebum production and creates a velvety smooth canvas. Enriched with green tea extract and collagen, the formula builds an invisible barrier against the elements, protecting skin and helping to keep it smooth and healthy"

The primer comes in a glass bottle with a pump! I love the font used on the packaging and find it really stands out. The first thing I noticed about this primer is the scent, I really don't like it. I has a very strong perfume type of scent which isn't something I look for in my skincare/makeup products. I always feel that when I am putting heavily scented products onto my face that it can't be good for my skin. Th texture of the primer is in between a gel and a moisturiser feel. It feels silky and makes your skin feel smooth.

The texture is very lightweight but quite runny. It doesn't feel like your usual primer. There is no stickyness and it does dry down fully. I was surprised how quickly it dries. It definitely makes my skin feel refreshed and prepped.

I agree that it does blur my pores but it doesn't blur my skin. Sometimes I suffer with small breakouts on my chin and need a primer that will blur over the surface but this doesn't do that. It makes my skin feel smooth but it doesn't actually do much else. I have tried this with different foundations and products and find it does well at hydrating my skin before applying other products but it doesn't work on my oily areas. I am extremely oily around my nose and on my chin but this doesn't keep the shine away, I seem to get oilier quicker when using this primer.

To make it work for me I have been applying a more mattifying primer in my t zone and then this all over the rest of my face. That way it works really well for me.

The No Pore Blem Primer retails for £15 which is quite reasonable but it isn't something I will purchase again. I think I will struggle to use up the one I have. I definitely think this primer will work well for dry skin rather than combination or oily.

Even though this primer was a bit of a disappointment I really want to try other products from this brand and hopefully fall in love with some of them.

Have you tried anything from this brand?
